Where can I find course announcements?

Open the course and look for an Announcements forum near the beginning of the course page. Teachers use it for important notices; students normally read announcements but do not start new discussions there.

New posts may also appear as web or email notifications, depending on your notification preferences and the site configuration. Check the notification bell and your email address. If the course uses a different forum for news, follow the communication instructions provided by the teacher.
